Customer Terms

1. Introduction

Welcome to Hustlefella (“Hustlefella”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Customer Terms (“Terms”) apply to all individuals or organisations using Hustlefella to search for service providers, submit service requests, contact providers, leave reviews, or otherwise use the Platform as a customer.

These Terms should be read together with our:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Community Guidelines

  • Acceptable Use Policy

By using Hustlefella, you agree to these Terms.

2. About Hustlefella

Hustlefella is an online Skills Directory and service request platform that connects customers with independent service providers.

Hustlefella is not:

  • the provider of the advertised services;

  • an employer of any Service Provider;

  • a contractor or subcontractor;

  • an agent acting on behalf of Service Providers;

  • a party to agreements entered into between customers and providers.

Any agreement for services is made directly between you and the Service Provider.

3. Eligibility

By using Hustlefella as a customer, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian;

  • the information you provide is accurate and truthful;

  • you will use the Platform lawfully and responsibly.

4. Finding Service Providers

Hustlefella allows you to search for Service Providers based on categories, skills, locations, and other available information.

While we aim to provide useful and accurate information, Hustlefella does not guarantee:

  • the availability of any provider;

  • the quality of work;

  • pricing;

  • response times;

  • qualifications;

  • suitability for your particular project.

Customers are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence before appointing a Service Provider.

5. Service Requests

Customers may submit service requests through the Platform.

By submitting a request, you agree that:

  • the information provided is accurate;

  • the request is genuine;

  • you are seeking the services described;

  • Hustlefella may forward your request to one or more suitable Service Providers.

Submitting a service request does not guarantee that providers will respond or accept the work.

6. Choosing a Service Provider

The decision to appoint a Service Provider is entirely yours.

Before proceeding, you should consider factors such as:

  • experience;

  • qualifications;

  • pricing;

  • availability;

  • references;

  • insurance (where applicable);

  • reviews.

Hustlefella encourages customers to communicate openly with providers before agreeing to any work.

7. Quotes, Payments and Contracts

Any quotation, estimate, invoice, payment arrangement, or contract exists solely between you and the Service Provider.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Hustlefella does not:

  • collect payment on behalf of providers;

  • guarantee prices;

  • negotiate contracts;

  • supervise work;

  • enforce agreements.

You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to all terms directly with the Service Provider.

8. Customer Responsibilities

When using Hustlefella, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information;

  • communicate respectfully;

  • honour appointments where reasonably possible;

  • respond honestly to providers;

  • comply with applicable laws;

  • use the Platform in good faith.

You must not submit fake enquiries or use the Platform to waste providers’ time.

9. Reviews

Customers are encouraged to leave reviews following genuine experiences.

Reviews should:

  • be truthful;

  • be fair;

  • be respectful;

  • relate directly to the services provided.

Reviews must not:

  • contain defamatory statements;

  • disclose confidential or personal information;

  • be posted in exchange for rewards;

  • be used to threaten or extort providers.

Hustlefella reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews that breach its policies.

10. Verification

Some Service Providers may participate in Hustlefella’s verification programmes.

Verification indicates only that specified information has been reviewed according to Hustlefella’s verification procedures at the time of assessment.

Verification is not:

  • a guarantee of workmanship;

  • a guarantee of honesty;

  • a guarantee of future conduct;

  • a guarantee that a provider is suitable for your particular project.

Customers should always exercise their own judgment.

11. Safety

Customers should take reasonable precautions when engaging Service Providers.

Where appropriate, this may include:

  • confirming identities;

  • requesting quotations in writing;

  • verifying qualifications;

  • keeping records of communications;

  • ensuring appropriate supervision where necessary.

If you believe illegal or dangerous conduct has occurred, you should contact the appropriate authorities.

12. Disputes

Any dispute relating to services, pricing, workmanship, cancellations, or payments exists primarily between the customer and the Service Provider.

Hustlefella is not obligated to investigate or resolve disputes but may, at its sole discretion, assist by facilitating communication where appropriate.

Nothing in this section prevents users from exercising any rights available under applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hustlefella shall not be liable for:

  • the actions or omissions of Service Providers;

  • poor workmanship;

  • project delays;

  • cancelled appointments;

  • pricing disputes;

  • payment disputes;

  • personal injury;

  • property damage;

  • indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the Platform.

Hustlefella provides a platform that facilitates introductions between customers and independent Service Providers.

14. Suspension of Access

Hustlefella may suspend or terminate customer accounts where users:

  • breach these Terms;

  • misuse the Platform;

  • harass providers;

  • submit fraudulent requests;

  • engage in unlawful conduct;

  • interfere with the operation of the Platform.

Serious breaches may result in immediate suspension without prior notice.

15. Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information as described in that policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

Hustlefella may amend these Customer Terms from time to time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Customer Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent South African courts unless otherwise required by applicable law.
