Reviews & Ratings Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Hustlefella (“Hustlefella”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

Trust is one of the foundations of the Hustlefella community, and reviews play an important role in helping customers make informed decisions while rewarding Service Providers who consistently deliver quality work.

This Reviews & Ratings Policy explains how reviews and ratings may be submitted, how they are moderated, and the standards expected from all users.

By submitting a review or rating on Hustlefella, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions, Community Guidelines, and Acceptable Use Policy.

2. Purpose of Reviews

Reviews are intended to:

  • help customers make informed decisions;

  • recognise outstanding Service Providers;

  • encourage professionalism and accountability;

  • provide constructive feedback;

  • strengthen trust within the Hustlefella community.

Reviews should contribute positively to the quality and integrity of the Platform.

3. Who May Leave Reviews

Reviews should only be submitted by users who have had a genuine experience with a Service Provider.

Hustlefella may, where technically possible, restrict reviews to customers who have interacted with a provider through the Platform.

We reserve the right to request additional information where the authenticity of a review is reasonably questioned.

4. Review Standards

Reviews should be:

  • truthful;

  • accurate;

  • respectful;

  • relevant;

  • based on genuine experiences.

Whenever possible, reviews should focus on facts rather than emotions or personal opinions.

Examples include comments about:

  • communication;

  • punctuality;

  • professionalism;

  • workmanship;

  • reliability;

  • value for money;

  • overall experience.

5. Ratings

Where ratings are available, they should honestly reflect your overall experience.

Users should not manipulate ratings or attempt to unfairly influence a provider’s reputation.

6. Prohibited Reviews

The following reviews are not permitted:

  • fake reviews;

  • reviews written on behalf of another person;

  • reviews based on hearsay rather than personal experience;

  • defamatory content;

  • abusive or threatening language;

  • discriminatory or hateful content;

  • intentionally misleading information;

  • spam or promotional content;

  • political or unrelated commentary;

  • reviews submitted in exchange for payment, gifts, discounts, or incentives;

  • duplicate reviews relating to the same experience.

7. Personal Information

Reviews must not include:

  • identity numbers;

  • passport numbers;

  • banking information;

  • home addresses;

  • private telephone numbers;

  • email addresses;

  • confidential business information;

  • private correspondence without permission.

Please respect the privacy of others.

8. Responding to Reviews

Where available, Service Providers may respond to reviews.

Responses should remain:

  • professional;

  • respectful;

  • factual;

  • constructive.

Responses must not include threats, harassment, or disclosure of confidential information.

A respectful response often demonstrates professionalism more effectively than an argument.

9. Moderation

To protect the integrity of the Platform, Hustlefella may:

  • review reported reviews;

  • remove reviews that breach this Policy;

  • edit formatting where necessary without changing the meaning;

  • temporarily hide reviews while they are investigated;

  • request supporting information from reviewers;

  • refuse publication of reviews that clearly violate Platform policies.

Hustlefella is not obligated to remove a review simply because it is negative.

10. Disputed Reviews

Where a Service Provider disputes a review, Hustlefella may:

  • request additional information from the reviewer;

  • request clarification from the Service Provider;

  • temporarily hide the review while investigating;

  • retain the review if it appears genuine;

  • remove the review where it clearly breaches this Policy.

Hustlefella’s moderation decisions are made in good faith to balance fairness, transparency, and the integrity of the Platform.

11. Fraudulent Review Activity

Users must not:

  • create fake accounts to leave reviews;

  • ask others to submit false reviews;

  • buy or sell reviews;

  • threaten negative reviews to obtain discounts or refunds;

  • offer incentives for positive reviews;

  • manipulate ratings or reputation scores.

Such conduct may result in suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.

12. Review Ownership

Users retain ownership of the reviews they submit.

By publishing a review on Hustlefella, you grant Hustlefella a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, publish, and use that review for the operation and promotion of the Platform.

13. Limitation of Responsibility

Reviews represent the opinions and experiences of individual users.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, reviews do not represent the views of Hustlefella.

While Hustlefella moderates reviews where appropriate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of every review published on the Platform.

Customers should consider reviews as one factor among many when choosing a Service Provider.

14. Enforcement

Users who repeatedly abuse the review system may have reviews removed and may face:

  • warnings;

  • restrictions on review privileges;

  • account suspension;

  • permanent removal from the Platform.

Serious or fraudulent conduct may result in additional action where appropriate.

15. Changes to This Policy

Hustlefella may update this Reviews & Ratings Policy from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on the Platform.

Continued use of the review system constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
