Intellectual Property Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Hustlefella (“Hustlefella”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

This Intellectual Property Policy explains the ownership and permitted use of intellectual property associated with the Hustlefella platform, including its website, branding, listings, content, software, images, graphics, and other materials.

By accessing or using Hustlefella, you agree to comply with this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions and all other applicable Platform policies.

  • protect Hustlefella’s intellectual property;

4. Boots Over Suits

The phrase:

“Boots Over Suits”

together with Hustlefella branding and associated logos, forms part of the identity of the Hustlefella Platform.

Users may not reproduce, imitate, modify, or use Hustlefella branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without prior written permission.

5. User-Submitted Content

Users retain ownership of the content they upload to Hustlefella.

Examples include:

  • business descriptions;

  • photographs;

  • logos;

  • portfolios;

  • reviews;

  • profile information;

  • comments;

  • videos;

  • other original content.

Uploading content to Hustlefella does not transfer ownership of that content to Hustlefella.

6. Licence Granted to Hustlefella

By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Hustlefella a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to:

  • display;

  • publish;

  • reproduce;

  • store;

  • distribute;

  • promote;

  • adapt formatting where necessary;

  • use the content for the operation, improvement, and promotion of the Platform.

This licence continues only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform or as otherwise required by law.

Ownership always remains with the original creator.

7. Your Responsibilities

By uploading content, you confirm that:

  • you own the content; or

  • you have obtained all necessary permissions to use it;

  • the content does not infringe another person’s intellectual property rights;

  • you have the legal right to grant the licence described in this Policy.

You remain responsible for the content you publish.

8. Prohibited Use

Users may not:

  • copy substantial portions of the Platform;

  • reproduce Hustlefella branding without permission;

  • scrape directory listings;

  • copy databases;

  • reproduce Platform content for commercial purposes;

  • remove copyright notices;

  • reverse engineer Platform software where prohibited by law;

  • use automated systems to copy Platform content without written consent.

9. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Some material appearing on Hustlefella may belong to third parties.

This may include:

  • trademarks;

  • logos;

  • photographs;

  • embedded media;

  • business names;

  • software;

  • service marks.

Such intellectual property remains the property of its respective owners.

Nothing in this Policy transfers ownership of third-party intellectual property.

10. Copyright Infringement

Hustlefella respects the intellectual property rights of others.

If you believe that material published on the Platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please notify us.

Where appropriate, your notice should include:

  • your contact details;

  • identification of the work concerned;

  • identification of the allegedly infringing material;

  • evidence of ownership or authority;

  • a description of the alleged infringement.

Hustlefella will investigate complaints received in good faith and may remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing material while the matter is reviewed.

11. Repeat Infringement

Users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others may face:

  • removal of content;

  • suspension of listings;

  • suspension of accounts;

  • permanent removal from the Platform;

  • legal action where appropriate.

12. Fair Use and Lawful Exceptions

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights or exceptions provided under applicable copyright or intellectual property legislation, including lawful quotation, criticism, review, reporting, or other recognised legal exceptions.

13. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Use

Users must not use automated tools, including artificial intelligence systems, bots, crawlers, or similar technologies, to copy, reproduce, harvest, or republish substantial portions of the Platform without Hustlefella’s prior written permission.

This restriction does not prevent ordinary search engine indexing where authorised.

14. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted under this Policy are reserved by Hustlefella and the respective intellectual property owners.

No licence or ownership rights are granted except where expressly stated.

15. Changes to this Policy

Hustlefella may update this Intellectual Property Policy from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
