This Buyer Policy (“Policy”) governs the conduct, rights, and responsibilities of any individual or entity (“Buyer”, “Customer”, “you”) that accesses or makes purchases on Hustlefella.com (“Platform”, “Marketplace”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy, the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Vendor Policy, and any additional rules published by Hustlefella.


1. BUYER ELIGIBILITY

To shop on Hustlefella.com, a Buyer must:

  1. Be 18 years or older, or have legal consent from a parent/guardian.

  2. Provide accurate personal information (name, email, phone number).

  3. Use a valid payment method.

  4. Comply with South African laws and all applicable international laws when purchasing from foreign vendors.

Buyers who violate these conditions may have their accounts suspended or permanently banned.


2. PLATFORM ROLE & BUYER UNDERSTANDING

2.1 Marketplace Model

Hustlefella.com is a multi-vendor marketplace.
This means:

  • You are purchasing directly from independent vendors.
  • Hustlefella is not the seller of record.
  • Vendors control their own inventory, shipping, pricing, and policies (within our rules).

2.2 No Guarantee of Vendor Identity

While Hustlefella verifies vendor information to the extent reasonably possible, we cannot guarantee:

  • Vendor identity
  • Vendor business legitimacy
  • Vendor qualification (for service providers)

Buyers must exercise proper judgment and caution.


3. BUYER CONDUCT

Buyers agree to:

  1. Provide truthful and accurate information.

  2. Not intimidate, harass, or insult vendors or staff.

  3. Not engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, or intentional misuse of the platform.

  4. Not attempt to bypass platform systems (e.g., off-platform payments).

  5. Not manipulate reviews (fake reviews, paid reviews, review harassment).

  6. Comply with all applicable laws regarding purchasing, importation, and age restrictions.

Violation may result in account termination or legal action.


4. PRICING, TAXES & CURRENCY

4.1 Price Transparency

All prices displayed must include:

  • Applicable VAT or sales tax (when charged by vendors)
  • All required fees

Shipping costs are shown separately unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Currency

Transactions may be in ZAR or international currencies depending on the payment gateway.

4.3 Buyer Responsibility for Taxes

Buyers are responsible for:

  • Any import duties
  • Customs clearance fees
  • International taxes
  • Cross-border regulatory compliance

Hustlefella cannot predict or calculate these charges.


5. PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 Secure Payment

All purchases must be made through approved payment gateways (e.g., Yoco, PayFast, Stripe, PayPal).

5.2 Fraud Checks

Transactions may be delayed or canceled for:

  • Suspicious activity
  • Incorrect billing information
  • Payment processor requirements

5.3 Chargebacks

Fraudulent chargebacks or misuse of payment dispute mechanisms may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Debt collection
  • Legal action

6. SHIPPING, DELIVERY & COLLECTION

6.1 Vendor Responsibility

Vendors are responsible for shipping, delivery, or service fulfillment.

6.2 Delivery Times

Delivery times displayed on product pages are vendor estimates.
Delays may occur due to:

  • Courier issues
  • Customs
  • Incorrect addresses provided by buyers
  • Peak seasons

6.3 Buyer Responsibility

Buyers must:

  • Provide accurate delivery details
  • Be available to receive the package
  • Track orders using information provided

Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delivery failure, and the buyer may bear the cost.

6.4 Non-Delivery

If an item does not arrive:

  • Buyer must contact the vendor first
  • If unresolved within a reasonable time, Hustlefella may step in to mediate
  • If confirmed non-delivered, the buyer is eligible for a refund

7. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Buyers are protected under Hustlefella’s Refund & Return Policy, which covers:

  1. Damaged or defective products

  2. Incorrect items received

  3. Misrepresentation or false listing information

  4. Failure of a vendor to deliver

  5. Non-performance of services

  6. Digital items not functioning as described

7.1 Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers must:

  • Submit return requests within the specified time frame
  • Provide clear evidence (photos/video) for damaged or incorrect items
  • Return items in original condition (unless defective)
  • Pay return shipping when required by policy

7.2 Service Purchases

For services:

  • Refunds may only apply if the provider fails to deliver the agreed service
  • Quality assessments are based on objective evidence

7.3 Dispute Resolution

If the vendor and buyer cannot resolve an issue:

  • Hustlefella may mediate
  • Hustlefella’s final decision is binding on both parties

8. REVIEWS & FEEDBACK

8.1 Authentic Reviews Only

Buyers must leave reviews based on their own legitimate experience.

8.2 Prohibited Review Practices

  • Threatening vendors for refunds
  • Posting fake or malicious reviews
  • Review manipulation or extortion
  • Demanding free products in exchange for positive feedback

Hustlefella may remove abusive or false reviews.


9. PROHIBITED BUYER ACTIVITIES

Buyers may not:

  • Purchase illegal goods or restricted items
  • Resell items purchased unless allowed by law
  • Request vendors to conduct transactions outside the platform
  • Attempt to obtain free products through manipulation
  • Upload harmful content, viruses, or scripts
  • Use hate speech or harassment

Any violation may result in account suspension or law enforcement referral.


10. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS

International customers acknowledge:

  • Delivery times may be significantly longer
  • Customs fees and taxes are their responsibility
  • Not all products can be shipped internationally
  • Certain items may be confiscated by customs

Hustlefella is not liable for customs-related issues.


11. BUYER ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

  • Hustlefella.com may suspend or terminate an account for:
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Abuse of refund processes
  • Harassment of vendors or staff
  • IP violations
  • Violating any policy, law, or platform rule
  • Chargeback fraud
  • Attempting to bypass marketplace payments

In such cases:

  • Orders may be canceled
  • Funds may be withheld pending investigation
  • Evidence may be shared with financial institutions or authorities

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Hustlefella.com:

  • Does not manufacture, store, or ship products
  • Is not responsible for vendor errors, misrepresentations, or product issues
  • Provides the platform “as-is”
  • May assist with disputes but is not liable for losses except as required by law
  • Is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with any vendor is through the refund process described above.


13. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Under POPIA and global privacy frameworks:

Buyers’ personal data will be:

  • Collected lawfully
  • Used for order processing, support, and communication
  • Protected using reasonable technical and organizational measures
  • Shared only with vendors, payment processors, and logistics partners necessary for completing the order

Buyers must not abuse or misuse vendor contact details.


14. POLICY UPDATES

Hustlefella.com may revise this Buyer Policy at any time. Updates become effective once published on the Platform.

Continued use of the Marketplace means you accept any changes made.


15. ACCEPTANCE

By making a purchase on Hustlefella.com, you agree that you:

  • Have read and understood this Buyer Policy
  • Acknowledge Hustlefella’s role as a marketplace intermediary
  • Will comply with all rules, laws, and obligations described herein
