Promotion & Competition Rules

1. Introduction

Welcome to Hustlefella (“Hustlefella”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

From time to time, Hustlefella may offer promotions, competitions, giveaways, referral campaigns, prize draws, discounts, or other promotional activities (collectively referred to as “Promotions”).

These Promotion & Competition Rules govern all Promotions conducted by Hustlefella unless separate competition-specific rules expressly state otherwise.

By participating in a Promotion, you agree to these Rules together with our Terms & Conditions and all other applicable Hustlefella policies.

2. Purpose

Promotions are intended to:

  • reward members of the Hustlefella community;

  • encourage participation;

  • promote the Platform;

  • recognise Service Providers and customers;

  • introduce new Platform features;

  • support community growth.

3. Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, Promotions are open only to users who:

  • comply with Hustlefella’s Terms & Conditions;

  • satisfy the eligibility requirements for the specific Promotion;

  • provide accurate information;

  • are not suspended from the Platform.

Certain Promotions may be limited by:

  • country;

  • province;

  • city;

  • age;

  • profession;

  • account type;

  • listing status;

  • verification status.

Any eligibility restrictions will be clearly stated in the Promotion details.

4. Promotion Period

Each Promotion will specify:

  • opening date;

  • closing date;

  • entry period;

  • winner announcement date (where applicable).

Entries received outside the stated Promotion period may not be accepted.

5. How to Enter

Entry methods may vary depending on the Promotion.

Examples include:

  • creating a Service Provider listing;

  • claiming a listing;

  • submitting a service request;

  • referring another user;

  • completing verification;

  • following Hustlefella on social media;

  • completing surveys;

  • participating in Platform activities.

No purchase will be required unless expressly stated and permitted by applicable law.

6. Prizes

Prizes may include, for example:

  • cash prizes;

  • promotional credits;

  • featured listings;

  • premium subscriptions;

  • free verification;

  • advertising packages;

  • merchandise;

  • vouchers;

  • products or services.

Prize descriptions will be published with each Promotion.

Prizes are generally:

  • non-transferable;

  • non-exchangeable;

  • not redeemable for cash unless expressly stated.

7. Winner Selection

Where winners are selected, the selection process will be described in the Promotion details.

Depending on the Promotion, winners may be determined by:

  • random draw;

  • judging panel;

  • points system;

  • merit;

  • community voting;

  • other transparent selection methods.

Hustlefella’s decision is final unless applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Notification of Winners

Where applicable:

  • winners may be contacted by email, telephone, Platform notification, or other reasonable means;

  • winners may be required to verify their identity;

  • prizes may be forfeited if winners cannot be contacted within the stated period or fail to meet eligibility requirements.

9. Verification

Hustlefella reserves the right to verify:

  • participant identity;

  • eligibility;

  • compliance with these Rules;

  • ownership of accounts;

  • compliance with Platform policies.

Failure to cooperate with reasonable verification requests may result in disqualification.

10. Disqualification

Participants may be disqualified for:

  • providing false information;

  • creating multiple accounts to gain an advantage;

  • manipulating Promotion results;

  • automated entries where prohibited;

  • fraud;

  • abuse of the Platform;

  • breach of Platform policies;

  • unlawful conduct.

Disqualification may occur at any stage of the Promotion.

11. Cancellation or Changes

Hustlefella reserves the right to:

  • amend Promotion rules;

  • substitute prizes with prizes of similar value where reasonably necessary;

  • extend Promotion periods;

  • suspend Promotions;

  • cancel Promotions where circumstances beyond our reasonable control make this necessary.

Where practical, reasonable notice of significant changes will be provided.

12. Publicity

Where permitted by law and with the winner’s consent where required, Hustlefella may publish:

  • first names;

  • general locations;

  • photographs;

  • testimonials;

  • prize presentations;

  • promotional content relating to winners.

Participants who do not wish to participate in publicity should notify Hustlefella where applicable.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during Promotions will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information will be used only for purposes connected with the Promotion and other purposes permitted by our Privacy Policy or applicable law.

14. Taxes

Participants remain responsible for any taxes or legal obligations arising from prizes received where applicable.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hustlefella shall not be liable for:

  • technical failures;

  • interrupted entries;

  • lost or delayed communications;

  • prize supplier issues;

  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control;

  • indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in a Promotion.

Nothing in these Rules limits any rights that participants may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

16. Governing Law

These Promotion & Competition Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Where Promotions are conducted in other jurisdictions, additional local rules may apply.

17. Changes to These Rules

Hustlefella may update these Promotion & Competition Rules from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on the Platform.

Continued participation in Promotions constitutes acceptance of the updated Rules.
