Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground meat
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh garlic finely chopped
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add the ground meat and cook until browned, making sure to break it up into small pieces.
- Stir in the curry powder and salt, mixing well.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer until they break down into a sauce and the curry thickens.
- Serve hot with your choice of bread, rice, or baked potato
