Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) govern all participation in the Hustlefella Community, including but not limited to forums, comments, messages, reviews, profiles, vendor stores, community posts, job listings, bids, and any interactive or social features made available on Hustlefella.com (“Hustlefella”, “the Platform”, “we”, “us”).

Hustlefella is built on the principle of “Boots over Suits”—promoting practical skills, honest work, fair opportunity, and mutual respect. These Guidelines exist to protect the community, the marketplace, and Hustlefella as a platform.

By using the Hustlefella Community, all users agree to comply with these Guidelines, the Terms & Conditions, Refunds & Returns Policy, Dispute Resolution Policy, and all applicable laws.


1. Purpose of the Community

The Hustlefella Community exists to:

  • Encourage knowledge sharing, skill development, and opportunity creation
  • Enable respectful interaction between buyers, vendors, freelancers, employers, and bidders
  • Support local entrepreneurship, practical trades, and honest hustle
  • Build trust, reputation, and accountability within the platform

The Community is not a place for harassment, scams, misinformation, or off-platform exploitation.


2. Scope of Application

These Guidelines apply to all:

  • Registered and unregistered users (where access is allowed)
  • Buyers, bidders, vendors, service providers, freelancers, and employers
  • Community forums, comments, posts, reviews, ratings, messages, and profiles
  • Public and private interactions conducted through Hustlefella tools

3. Core Community Values

All community participation must uphold the following principles:

  • Respect: Treat others with dignity, regardless of background or experience
  • Honesty: Represent skills, services, and intentions truthfully
  • Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and words
  • Fair Dealing: No manipulation, deception, or exploitation
  • Constructive Engagement: Criticism must be factual and relevant

4. Acceptable Conduct

Users are encouraged to:

  • Share accurate, helpful information
  • Ask genuine questions and offer constructive feedback
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully
  • Resolve disagreements calmly and through platform mechanisms
  • Report violations rather than escalating conflicts

5. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:

5.1 Harassment & Abuse

  • Threats, intimidation, or bullying
  • Hate speech or discriminatory language
  • Personal attacks or targeted harassment
  • Encouraging harm to oneself or others

5.2 Fraud, Scams & Deception

  • Misrepresenting skills, credentials, or experience
  • Fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials
  • Phishing, impersonation, or social engineering
  • Attempts to bypass platform safeguards

5.3 Spam & Manipulation

  • Repetitive or irrelevant posting
  • Mass messaging or unsolicited promotions
  • Artificial reputation inflation
  • Keyword stuffing or misleading titles

5.4 Off-Platform Circumvention

  • Soliciting off-platform payments or deals
  • Sharing contact details to avoid platform fees
  • Redirecting users to external marketplaces without permission

5.5 Illegal or Harmful Content

  • Content promoting illegal activity
  • Stolen property or counterfeit goods
  • Dangerous instructions or unsafe practices
  • Content violating intellectual property rights

5.6 Adult & Explicit Content

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Sexual solicitation or exploitation
  • Content involving minors (zero tolerance)

6. Reviews, Ratings & Feedback

6.1 Reviews must:

  • Be based on genuine platform transactions
  • Be factual, relevant, and non-defamatory
  • Avoid personal or irrelevant commentary

6.2 Prohibited review behaviour:

  • Retaliatory or extortionary reviews
  • Review manipulation or incentives
  • Posting private or personal information

Hustlefella reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews.


7. Vendor & Professional Conduct

Vendors, freelancers, and employers must:

  • Communicate clearly and honestly
  • Set realistic expectations
  • Honour commitments and timelines
  • Use community features responsibly

Misuse of authority, status, or expertise is prohibited.


8. Community Moderation & Enforcement

8.1 Hustlefella reserves the right to:

  • Moderate, edit, restrict, or remove content
  • Issue warnings or notices
  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Restrict community participation

8.2 Enforcement actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary.

8.3 Hustlefella is not obligated to provide reasons for moderation decisions beyond what is required by law.


9. Reporting Violations

Users are encouraged to report violations via:

  • Platform reporting tools
  • Customer support channels

False or malicious reports may result in penalties.


10. Reputation, Trust & Signals

Hustlefella may use:

  • Reputation scores
  • Badges or trust indicators
  • Community participation metrics

These signals are informational and not guarantees of performance.


11. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Do not share personal or confidential information
  • Respect private communications
  • Public posting of private disputes is discouraged

12. Children & Vulnerable Persons

  • Hustlefella is not intended for use by minors
  • Any content involving exploitation or harm to minors will be reported

13. Community Disputes

Community-related disputes should be handled in accordance with the Dispute Resolution Policy. Public shaming or harassment is prohibited.


14. Limitation of Responsibility

Hustlefella does not endorse user-generated content and is not responsible for opinions expressed by users.


15. Amendments & Evolution

These Guidelines may evolve as the community grows. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updates.
